Abstract: |
Particle size determination is important in a range of applications including pollution control, efficient grinding of solid fuels, quality control of a range of industrial processes etc. I will briefly review existing sizing techniques with emphasis on their strengths and weaknesses. I will then introduce and explain the strengths and weaknesses of a novel optical particle sizing instrument being developed at MTU. |
